Technical Communities
The North East and Yorkshire Communities
The technical community brings together technical professionals in the North of England and gives them the opportunity to attend a series of events to develop an extended knowledge of advanced and emerging technologies
Membership of the technical communities is free and meetings take place every 4 - 6 weeks
The technical communities give technical professionals based in the North of England the opportunity to learn from the experiences of others in the area who have evaluated, architected and deployed solutions
It also gives the members opportunity to see how leading and emerging technologies could be utilised by their organisation for business benefits without having to leave the region or take extended time out of the region.
North East Technical Community
The North East technical community was initiated in early 2009 and meets regularly in central Newcastle to share experiences and allow for presentations. This community now boasts and membership of over 60 people.
All content and discussion is guided by members and any form of sales activity is not allowed in the community. Normal gathering include a social side which gives members the opportunity to compare notes in a less formal environment.

Yorkshire Technical Community
The sister to the NETC born in July 2009 with meetings normally in Leeds or York and providing the Yorkshire area with same benefits as the NETC but with a local focus.
